Inspired by classic designs, Orfeld Guitars' Layla blends vintage style with modern techniques to create a full sounding and flexible instrument

that is as gratifying to play as it is easy on the eyes. Each guitar is built one at time, by musicians - for tone chasers and music lovers - and each order is custom made for you.

A one-piece design made of maple puts out a full bodied tone dripping sweet sustain, delivered by precision attack. For the top, a selected Korina veneer is used and the entire instrument is finished in smooth satin natural oil.

The guys at Orfeld Guitars came up with a unique and intriguing bridge design that yield great sustain with a look that brings old and new together. Tuners are Wilkinson 1:18 open frame for optimal quality in tuning and tone.

The electronics suite is both high grade and flexible; a Switchcraft jack, Bourns potentiometers, paper-in-oil capacitor, 

and point-to-point wiring using Alpha-Wire throughout. Superb response on the controls allows to fine tune the Kent Armstrong Icon ‘57 hum-bucker to your favorite sweet spot.
